Returning to Nanaimo, Ron served as Chaplain at the Nanaimo Correctional Centre and was ordained in the Anglican Church. After retirement, he became an Honorary Assistant at Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria, beloved for his warm presence and commitment to ministry.
