Reimund Karl Gottschalk born 1933 in Breslau, Germany, passed away of heart failure at his home in Nanaimo on January 5th 2020. He is survived by his spouse Elizabeth his four children Tania, Russell, Susan and Christopher, and his four grand children Clay, Amber, Alexandra and Samantha. Loved and respected by his family and close friend he will be missed very much. A strong and energetic man he enjoyed a wonderful retirement and spent many years exploring the beauty of Vancouver Island, sailing and fishing. A family memorial service in his honour will be held in Edmonton.
