Raymond James Oliver

Ray passed away unexpectedly at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
He was predeceased by his father, Ray, mother, Ada, and brother, Tom. He is survived by his loving daughter, Tisha (Richard); sister, Pat (Rick); brother, Rod (Shawna); former wife, Leanne; and dear friend and former wife Rose (George); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Raymond lived his dash to the fullest. He was a father, brother, husband, golfer, dart player, lawn bowler, truck driver and friend. Whatever Raymond did, he did to the fullest, mentoring and encouraging others to follow his passions. He was a humorous man, bringing laughter and smiles to those lucky enough to be around him.
Never one to wish a lot of fuss to be brought, Raymond was cremated and a private Celebration of his Life will follow. The family gratefully declines flowers. If so desired, please consider making a donation to the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit.
