Ray is no longer with us but he will be remembered for the friendly, humorous person he was. He truly was a Ray of sunshine. He was one of those men who is larger than life.
He touched the lives of many, whether as a police officer, police college instructor, police dive team leader, Elder College instructor or just with a friendly word or smile.
Born in England, he served with the Royal Military Police. Later he was a member of the London Metropolitan Police. He moved to Canada and joined the Saskatoon City Police.
He enjoyed travel, woodworking, and scuba diving. One of his passions was writing. He wrote seven books and was a member of several writing groups.
Ray will be deeply missed by Geri, Margaret, Simon, Sue, Rob, and many friends.
