Jan 14, 2018
Randy Tait left us on January 14, 2018 after 68 years of enjoying family, friends, and fishing.
In the early years of Randy’s life, he learned to sail with his Dad at the family cottage on Porter’s Lake, Nova Scotia. He never missed the annual spring fly fishing derby with his core group of buddies. Randy’s name is memorialized twice on the 25-year trophy.
After retirement, Randy and his spouse Clancy, spent winters in Mexico where they enjoyed local jams, newfound friends, and Coronas on the beach. Randy was sometimes known as “Randy Britannica” as he always had the answer to any query.
Randy leaves behind friends from Halifax, Dartmouth, Calgary, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island.
Randy will be missed by daughter Erika, spouse Clancy, sisters Jani and Margo, brothers Eric and Harvey, and his Dad Carelton.
He was predeceased by his Mother Audrey.
A Celebration of Life will take place in April, date to be announced.
