Rae was born and raised in Nanaimo. He was a true Islander throughout his life. He worked in pulp mills, both Port Alberni and Nanaimo.
Although the last decade of his life was spent in illness, there was always a cup of coffee and piece of cake waiting for any one who happened along.
Fiercely loyal but always loving, Rae was a great friend to all. To his best friends Donna Carlson and Kim Thompson, we give many heart felt thanks for his constant care and companionship.
Thanks are also given to Doctor Gillis, and the many Nurses and Care Aids who attended to Rae.
Rae leaves behind his daughters, Brenda (Mike) Beharrel and Debbie Scott. Grandchildren Kevin (Heidi) and Nash. Great grandchildren Athena and Neda. Sister Barbara (Rob) Anderson & family. Brother Murray Scott & family, as well as aunt Chris Ring and many cousins.
Predeceased by parents Brenda & C.M. Scott and granddaughter Alicia Henderson.
“To be absent in the body is to be present with Christ”.  ÂÂ

We’ll see you in heaven Rae!
