R. Patrick Shannon
November 13, 1948 - May 29, 2011
Pat passed away at home surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.
Pat was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, the youngest of eight children.
Pat was predeceased by his father, mother, brother Mickey, sister’s Joyce (Fred), and Bernice.
He leaves behind his loving wife Linda, son Michael (Tammy), daughter Chrissy (Sean), and his four grandsons - Jacob, Tyler, Eli, and Patrick.
He is survived by brother’s George (Mavis), Tom (Nancy), and sister’s Lois (Ed) and Lynda (Ron).
Pat will be remembered for his strong character, love of family, his laughter, and for living life to its fullest.
A special note of gratitude to the home care workers/nurses for everything they did to get Pat and his family through this difficult time.
There will be no service at his request. Remember Pat by sharing your laughter with someone.
