With great sadness the family of Polly Beaton announce her death on Oct. 28th, 2021. Polly passed away quietly in her sleep. She was born April 6th, 1930 on a farm near Strathclair, Manitoba.
Polly was predeceased by her loving husband Bob (Buster) in 2011, as well as her parents Jessie and John and brother Victor.
She is survived by: brother Walter (Kathy) Desiatnyk, And children Bruce (Kathy), Alan and Joanne (Erick); Grandchildren: Michael (Nathalie), Kristine, Christopher (Morgan), Alena and Brandon. Great grandchildren: Elodie, and Simmaa'y.
The family is grateful for the care and support Polly received at the Nanaimo Senior Village (Highgate), particularly Linda and Lisa's kindness.
It was Polly's wish not to have memorial services. To all those friends, colleagues and acquaintances extending their condolences the family is truly appreciative. Donations can be made in Polly's name to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
