Race, Phyllis - July 10, 2009
Phyllis Race, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully July 10, 2009 at Malaspina gardens surrounded by her family. With a smile, she always lent a hand expecting nothing in return. To their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Phyllis and John left a lifetime of memories and a legacy of time spent together that is worth far more than material things.
We would like to thank all the staff on Franklyn Wing for their extraordinary, loving care, with special thanks to Margaret & Kelly, who both contributed so much to her life. Our special thanks to Dr. Lam for his compassion and attention given.
No service will be held. Donations may be made to Nanaimo Brain Injury Society, #101-55 Victoria Rd., Nanaimo, BC V9R 5N9 in honor of all Home Support Workers who help so many families.
