Pete (Peter) passed away in the care of Nanaimo Regional General Hospital Palliative Care Unit after a brief yet brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Pete was predeceased by his parents Bernice and Angus. Pete is survived by his loving wife Leona, his daughter Sarah (Dave), Stepchildren Teri (Tom), Bill (Pardip) sisters, Sheila (Stewart) and Norah, brother Conn, nieces Shona and Kadie, nephews Klayton and London, Grandchildren Tamika (Graham), Keana, Tamia, Raiden, Azura, Zion and Daxton, as well as Great Grandchildren Finnley and Ziggy.
Pete was a lover of cars, good music, good books and fine Scotch. Pete knew what he liked in life and did each thing with pride, he was a respected member of the car community and his presence will be greatly missed amongst his peers.
Pete was both modest and proud yet had a sense of humor that drew people to him, he was loved by all that knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NRGH Palliative Unit in honor of Pete.
