PETER GUNTER BUHLER
November 11, 1938 - July 6, 2016
PETER GUNTER BUHLER of Nanaimo BC died on Wednesday July 6 2016 at Victoria General Hospital. He was 77.
Peter was born on Nov 11, 1938 in Berlin, Germany. Peter lived the majority of his working years on the Lower Mainland and settling in Nanaimo in 2001.
At the age of 34 Peter met and married his one true love, Eileen and together they raised their daughter Cindy. Peter enjoyed working, German soccer and family vacations.
Peter was preceded in death by his mother Hildegard, father Gunter and sisters Ilona and Roswitha. Peter is survived by his loving wife Eileen, his daughter Cindy (Gary) his two grandchildren Brittney and Clayton and his sister Maria of Berlin, Germany.
It’s with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
A celebration of life will be held on August 7th 2016 2 pm to 4 pm at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1356 Cranberry Ave Nanaimo BC
Eileen and family would like to give special thanks to the team at Victoria General for their exceptional care of Peter and a loving thank you to all of their friends for their love and support during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Peter’s name.
