It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Peter. Loved by all, and sorely missed by his loving wife Lorie, daughters Heather (Ken) and Robyn (Guy), stepchildren Brent (Tanya) and Kathleen (Brent) and grandchildren, Kristen (Brandon), Andrew, Austin, Caelin, Tatiana, Delano, Jesse, Jayme and Easton. His mother Gladys and his brother Mike predeceased him.
Peter grew up in Deal, England, moving to Canada and arriving in Vancouver at the age of 17. He moved to Vancouver Island making Nanaimo then Cedar his home.
He was a teacher and principal at several schools in School District 68, retiring in 2001.
In retirement, Peter enjoyed travelling, gardening, the theatre, dancing, dragon boating, reading, attending hockey and football games, visiting with friends and family-his social calendar was always full! He had a loving, kind heart and a delightful sense of humor, always there when you needed a hug or a laugh.
