MEDWID, Peter George
Born on December 3,1932 in Thunder Bay Ontario. Peter passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2004. Predeceased by, brother Ronald Medwid and Parents Anne and Peter Medwid Sr. Survived by his wife, Muriel Medwid, children, Donna (Tom) Sutton, Robert (Debbie) Medwid, Louanne (Don) Way, Janet (Dave) Devana, Ronni (Randy) Marback. He was a wonderful grandfather to 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A loving brother to Bob Medwid and sister Anne Larocque both of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Peter had a talented career first as an Aerial photographer for the Canadian Air Force, later a journalist of 25 years with various Canadian Newspapers, and finishing as an industrial first aid attendant on the Crofton Mill, 20 years. He was a proud member of the #10 Royal Canadian Legion. “As for myself (Peter), I leave this world with no regrets. I have lived a good life. Min has given me her best and I have cherished our 48 years together”. To my children: ”You have made me proud to be your father. I love you dearly as I do the grandchildren and great grandchildren. I ask only one thing: my life is over, live for the living. I love you all”.
Dad, we will all miss your guidance, support, and unconditional love. Our hearts are forever yours. The Family. No memorial service as requested by Peter.
