Patrick Joseph Docherty passed away suddenly on Nov. 14th 2016 at NRGH. Patrick is predeceased by his parents, Jack and Aileen. Patrick is lovingly remembered by his sister Sharon (Don) Claiter, brother Al (Kathie) nephews Matthew (Corrine) Alex (Lauren) Jason and Rylee (Tammy) and his great nephew Cody
Patrick was born in NRGH Nov. 17th 1961. He attended Dufferin elementary school, Woodlands high school and NDSS. Shortly after graduating high school he began working at Pacific Coach Lines and continued to work there until his untimely passing.
As a young boy Patrick grew up across the street from Mansfield Park where he forged lifelong friendships and his love for sports. Pat spent many a summer visiting his sister and brother in law at Shuswap lake, swimming rollerblading, card playing and swapping stories.
Celebration of Patricks life will be held at Lantzville Legion upstairs from 1 till 4 pm Dec. 4th 2016. 7227 Lantzville Rd.
Patrick will be sadly missed by all family and friends
Patrick’s family would like to thank the staff at NRGH specifically the ICU department and Dr. Wells. We are truly grateful for the level of care you gave our brother and time spent with family.
