1955-2020 ~ It is with great sadness that we announce the Promotion to Glory of Patricia (Patti) Anderson of Nanaimo who passed away at NRGH on March 20, 2020 with her husband Rob and step daughter Carrie at her side.
Loving Daughter of Michael (pre-deceased) and Julie Frey (Nee Volk) was born in Brooks, Alberta on May 27, 1955. She is survived by her husband Rob, sisters Judy and Marie (Todd), brother Michael Jr, step daughter Carrie, 2 nieces, 2 nephews and 9 grandchildren. Pre-deceased by Brother-in-law Tony and stepdaughter Kelly
Patricia spent many years in Yellowknife a place she loved, leaving only to marry her husband Rob in 1994.
After her graduation from the University of Alberta, she spent most of her working life with Not-For-Profits Organizations serving individuals suffering from mental health and addictions issues.
Family was very important to Patricia spending vacations visiting aunts, uncles and cousins. She spent many hours tracing and collecting information on her ancestry. Patricia also enjoyed gardening, photography and walking with her friends at the Bastion City Wanders.
