In loving memory ~
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Deeves (nee Wuth) in Nanaimo, British Columbia, on January 12, 2025, at the age of 69 years. Trish was predeceased by her brother Michael in 2019 and her parents Mary (1994) and Hans (2003).
Trish was adopted at birth by loving parents Hans and Mary Wuth in Calgary, Alberta. She had a large extended family with many cousins on both sides of her family and often reminisced about the wonderful childhood and experiences she had growing up in Calgary.
In the early 90s after the loss of her beloved mother, Trish moved to Nanaimo with her then husband, Art. Hans followed shortly afterwards, and they bought a house which they shared until Hans' passing.
Trish was an advocate and supporter of animals of all kinds. She was a veterinary technician in Calgary. When she moved to Nanaimo, she worked for the SPCA before changing careers and began working at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital until her retirement in 2017.
Trish was a kind soul who befriended many in the community and was always willing to help/donate to services that helped the homeless and animal rescue. She will be missed by family, friends, the community and especially the animals whose lives she impacted.
