It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Oren on July 7, 2022 at the age of 62.
Predeceased by his dad Herman, brother Ed, and nephew Mikey.
His memories are left with Dana, his beautiful wife of 36 years, son Brett, daughter Richelle (Dylan) Johnston, his mom Joyce, brothers Don (Gale), Norm (Sheryl), sisters Trudy, Carol, and Brenda (Greg). His extended family, brothers-in-law Brian (Janice), Dwane, sisters-in-law Pat (Jim), Gianna, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his many special friends.
Oren was born and raised in Nanaimo. The Nanaimo Soccer Community always played a big part in his life from a very young age. Oren met some great friends during his years playing soccer in town.
A special thank you to his doctors and nurses, the Nanaimo and Victoria Cancer Clinics, and the wonderful staff at the Palliative Care Unit in Nanaimo.
He will be missed.
