Norman Malcolm Martin, Born in Bella Coola on Sept 29, 1932, passed away in Nanaimo on Nov 24, 2017.

As was his wish, Norm passed away peacefully in his house on beautiful Long lake.

Norm is survived by his wife of 57 years Darlene, sons Brent, Bruce (Donna), Brad (Julie), grandsons Blake, Lee and Finn.

Norm was always fond of the water be it salt or fresh. Norm started in the fishing industry at the age of 15 with his uncles.

He later worked for the Pacific Biological Station then the Provincial Government. He then went back to his roots, owning and captaining the troller "Canadian Star" until retirement.

Our sincere appreciation to D.r Nick Schulson, Diane, the Home Care nurses, staff at the Rehab unit at NRGH and Central Drug store. Thank you for your utmost care and kindness towards Norm.
