Beloved Father, brother, uncle and most excellent friend Norman, passed suddenly from this world on Friday morning, June 29, 2018.
Predeceased by the love of his life Brenda in a tragic accident just 4 short years ago on July 01, 2014, Norm leaves behind his two young daughters Emma (15) and Ali (20) who were, are and always will be, the light of his life.
He also leaves behind his loving sister Jo-Ann Wichary (Andy); brothers Neil Roine (Karen) and Wayne Roine & partner; loving sister-in-law Melanie Balfour (Gregg); nieces Connie, Christina, Monica, Amanda, Samantha, Jennifer and nephews Robert, Eric & Josh. He will also be missed by many grand nieces and nephews, cousins and good friends. He valued his relationships with friends and family greatly and will be sorely missed.
Born on June 20, 1958 in Nanaimo, B.C. the youngest child of Aarne and Pearl Roine, Norman grew up in the excellent surroundings of farm life with his brothers and his sister. He was always the adventurer having spent time in Australia, the US and Mexico. Norman's other loves were Hockey and Golf both of which he played well. He loved being a hockey coach and being the biggest fans of Ali and Emma.He was well known as a fervent supporter of Hockey BC.
Norm always loved BIG machinery as evidenced by his loyalty and dedication in his 40+ years with Finning. His friends and colleagues such as Brent Davis, Mike Brandt and acquaintances and customers over the years that meant so very much to him and by extension, to his family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, 11:00 am, at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, 4303 Pleasant Valley Road, Vernon, B.C.
A reception will be held at the home immediately following the service at: 9825 Springfield Road, Lavington (Vernon).
