Born to James Dunphy and Edna White in Mouth of Keswick, New Brunswick.
Murray (Dad) was a very loving, devoted family man. A man of great patience, kindness and understanding. He kept that great sense of humor of his til the end. Dad was loved by all who knew him.
Dad was a very talented carpenter and built 3 of his homes. He loved woodworking, camping, fishing and of course, spending time with family.
Pre-deceased by Marlene, his beautiful loving wife of 55 years and Estelle Fox of 4 years. Survived by his children - Bev (Fred), Judy, Mac (Karen) and Diane (Darryl). Grandchildren Ryan, Kiel, Derek, Tim, Jen, Kate, Emily, Trejuanelle, Tommylia and Devin and many great-grandchildren.
Survived, also, by his brother Eldon, his dear friend, Edna and many more friends and relatives.
Dad will be profoundly missed.
Special thanks to the staff at Dover House, Annabelle in Palliative Care and many of the staff on the 6th Floor at NRGH.
At Dad's request, we will be having an outdoor Celebration of Life closer to the summer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC/Yukon or CNIB.
We love you to the moon and back, Dad! You deserved the best but got us instead!
