Miriam died in Burnaby after a sudden illness. She was surrounded by her great friends and her beloved husband of more than 50 years, Gilbert.
Miriam was born and raised in Nanaimo. She had a wonderful career as an innovative teacher - librarian, in Burnaby. Since retirement Miriam and Gilbert have cruised the world.
She is predeceased by her parents Jack and Lillian Litch and is survived by her sister Margaret Litch (Ron) of Nanaimo.
Miriam was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.
