NEHAJ, MILDRED
Native daughter of Nanaimo who was Born in 1926 and passed away peacefully in Malaspina Gardens on April 2, 2010.
She is predeceased by her husband Les and three sons David, Douglas and Leslie.
Mildred was a member of the Nanaimo F.O.E. Ladies Auxillary. Mildred worked for the Salvation Army through the war years, during which time she met and married her husband Les.
She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Norma Hosie (Bob); her Nephews: John (Kim) Hosie, Jim Hosie, James in Scotland, and Gary (Pat) Nehaj; also two grandsons Jordan and Matthew.
Private family cremation. Special thanks to all the staff at Malaspina Gardens and Dr. Houghton. For those so desiring, donations in memory of Mildred may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Society, 4480 Oak Street, Vancouver, BC, V6H 3V4 or to a charity of ones choice.
