Micheal Alin LIPTAK
May 30, 1947 – April 30, 2016
After a lengthy battle with Progressive Supraneucleur Palsy, Micheal passed away in Dufferin Place, Nanaimo, BC on Saturday, April 30th 2016. Born in Nanaimo, BC on May 30, 1947, Micheal was 68 years of age.
Micheal is lovingly remembered by his wife, Thelma Redmond; brother, Peter (Nicole), and niece Sherry, all of Chilliwack BC; his brother in law, Pierre Cousineau and nieces Collette and Michelle of Montreal. Micheal was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Yvonne and sister, Gail.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm the Eagles Hall, 245 Fraser St. in Nanaimo, on Monday, May 23, 2016. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Palliative Room at Dufferin Place for the purchase of a Lay Z Boy chair in Micheal’s memory.
