Passed away on July 31, 2016 at age 58 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his childhood sweet heart and wife of 42 years, Laura, his son Tyler (Crystal), his grandson Blake, Warren, and Sonja. He will also be deeply missed by family members Juli (Graham), Bailey (Josh), and Kyle (Kaylea). Mike was predeceased by his sister Sherri, mom Helen, and dad Joe. Thank you to Sue, Larry & Lesley, and Donny for being there until the end, and to Al and Stef & Carolyn for making the journey back home for a final visit. All your support and encouragement meant a lot to Mike. Thanks to Tyler and his friends for making Mike’s long time vision become a reality during his final days. Thank you to Dr. Otte and the home care nurses for your compassionate care. A celebration of life will be held at the Moose Hall on Saturday, September 10th at 3 PM. Mike is now free to do what he loved most – to hunt and sh for eternity!
