Mew King, (Kay)
late resident of Nanaimo since 1957, born in Toy San China in 1937, passed away peacefully in Nanaimo on March 20, 2006.
She is survived by her loving family. Husband Paul, her children Daisy, Alan (Kim), Mike (Carla), Ray (Wendy), Emily (Richard). Grandchildren: Alindy, Kelsey, Amanda, Rebecca, Courtney, Rylee, Austin and Devin. Her mother Yuk Chu Choy. One sister Lin and family. One brother John Choy and his wife Fun and her nephew Wayne and family.
Kay and her husband Paul owned and operated the ‘Double Dragon’ Restaurant from 1970, retiring in 1994.
A funeral service for Kay will be held on Monday, March 27th, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from Sands Funeral Chapel, 1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, B.C. Interment will follow in the Nanaimo Chinese Memorial Cemetery, Townsite Road, Nanaimo.
