HICKEY, Merna
January 26, 1931 to August 30, 2015
It is with deep sadness we announce Merna’s passing on August 30, 2015. Mother will be welcomed with open arms by her late husband, Lloyd Hickey.
She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by her loving children Durwood (Alexis), Belinda (Bruce), Caroline (Mike), Eleanor, Darryl (Joy) 9 grandchildren Rick, Denise, Brandon, Troy, Tyson, Kayla, Valerie, Kody, Mark and 1 great grandchild Sienna. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters. Mother was a loving and caring woman, her memory will be cherished in the hearts of all whose lives she touched.
A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff at Nanaimo Seniors Village where mom spent her last 4 1/2 years. Your love and support was greatly appreciated.
There will be no Service by request. A family gathering will be announced at a later date.
