Maye Moffatt, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away Friday August 5th at the age of 88 years. Maye was pre-deceased by her loving husband Jim Moffatt in 2007, her sister Shirley, and parents Johnny and “Bunny”.
Maye will be remembered by many in the community as head copywriter at CHUB radio from the late 1960s to mid-1980s.
Maye is lovingly remembered by her devoted son Robb (Debbie), daughter Denyse, and son Don (Ella), grandchildren Drea (Tiogshi), James (Lindsay), and Adam, great-granddaughter Markie, brother Bob, her many nieces and nephews, and close friends June and Doris.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First Memorial on Bowen Road on Saturday, October 1st at 2 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined in favour of donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, Alzheimer’s Society, Autism Speaks or to the charity of your choice.
