FEDJE, May Beatrice
Beatrice “Bea”, age 95, passed away on August 23, 2016 surrounded by the love of her daughter Dolores Beban, her grandchildren Catherine, Carolyn, Christine and Jacqueline Beban, Selena and Justin Pellizzari, great-grandchildren Scarlet Harlingten and Frank and Tyler Sheppe, and son-in-law Jim Dwinnell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Olaf, and her daughter Gail Pellizzari.
Born in Powell River, Bea grew up in the farming community of Abbotsford where she met Olaf at a local dance. They would go on to build a life together based on strong family values and a work ethic that would lead to them becoming highly successful and respected pioneers in the forest industry.
Bea was an avid reader and lover of nature, art, music, and languages, but her greatest passions were her family and dancing the old-time waltz with her husband Olaf.
At Bea’s request, no service will be held. Instead, play an old time waltz or a polka and have a dance in her memory - Olaf and Bea will be dancing along with you.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to NRGH Palliative Care unit in recognition for their outstanding care and compassion in Bea’s final days.
