Passed away peacefully with her family by her bedside in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
She is survived by her siblings, Dale Stoddard, Yvonne French (Fred), Charles Leon Stoddard (Norma), Kent Stoddard (Joyce), Kay Nay. Maxine and Douglas Sherwood (deceased) were blessed with 5 children: Kenneth (Pamela), Ronald, deceased, (Elizabeth), Bryan (Bridget) both deceased, Kathryn Patterson (David), Debra Brint (Robert). 14 Grandchildren: David, Sondra, Jennifer, Rachel, Breanna, Zana, Jesse, Chelsea, Jason, Melanie, Heather, Timothy, Kathleen (deceased) & Nicole (deceased). 22 Great-Grandchildren & 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Maxine married Cyril Porter 2004, he passed in 2008. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Nanaimo Seniors Village and Trillium Lodge, "Bless your Hearts".
Memorial to take place on April 13, 2019 at 2 pm.
