Max passed away peacefully in Ty Watson House on Wednesday, May 4th, 2016 at the age of 74 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Randers, Denmark in 1941. Max is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Bente; son Martin (Wendy Lynne); daughter Tina (Jason); grandchildren Marcus, Brandon and Nicholas; brother John in Denmark; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends throughout the world. Following Max’s wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Max’s memory to Ty Watson House, 2649 - 2nd Avenue, Port Alberni, V9Y 1Z8.
