Mary Elizabeth Turner (Moore)
August 23, 1926 - April 18, 2011
At Stanford Place, Parksville, Mary passed away serenely, with her family by her side, after a long illness.
Mary is survived by her sister, Lottie Cornish; her children: Anne, Kathleen and Ian (Susan). Predeceased by her loving husband of fifty years, James H. Turner and brother, Jimmy Moore. She will be fondly missed by her grandchildren: Rebecca, Lisa (Patrick) and Ryan; nieces and nephews, and her many friends. She was held in their love as she passed from this world.
Mary did everything with perfection - service to the R.C.M.P., a lifetime of devoted volunteering for the community, excellence in needle arts, and unwavering support for her family and friends. Hers was a faith-based life, trusting in the grace of God to give hope and comfort in every aspect of her life. She will be greatly missed, and we are grateful to her for being part of our lives.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Knox United Church, 345 Pym Street, Parksville, BC.
A special thank you to the staff at Stanford Place for their excellent care of Mary.
