Mary Dunlop passed away peacefully in Nanaimo Regional Hospital on July 8, 2017. Born in Yorkton Saskatchewan in January 1920, Mary lived in Banff, Kokish, and Nanaimo. She is survived by her Sister Susan Pisiak, Daughter Nancy Dunlop (Hans) and Son Shayne Dunlop (Gail). She was predeceased by her Husband of 62 years Delmar Dunlop and her Daughter Darleen Jones. Mary spent her last 11 years at the Long Lake Chateau where she enjoyed the Atria staff and the VIHA staff as well as fellow residents. She was treated so well by everyone at the chateau. A celebratory tea was held at the chateau on July 12, 2017 Special thanks to Dr. Forrester who kept Mary going for the last 8 years. Mary lived a full long life and will be missed by everyone that knew her.
