To Doctors Melissa Gillis and Mary Winder, and to the Staff at Woodgrove Manor, thank you for the exemplary and compassionate care given to Mary. Words scarcely express our gratitude.

In accordance with Mary’s wishes, there will be no services. Flowers are gratefully declined.

Those wishing to make a donation in memoriam, Mary supported numerous charities: Nanaimo SPCA, Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation, Loaves & Fishes (Nanaimo) Food Bank, Canadian Cancer Society, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, BC Lung Assn., TB Veterans Assn., and Canadian Red Cross.

Out of sight but never out of mind ... “I am waiting somewhere very near, just around the corner.

All is well.”
