Jan 25, 1920 - Jan 8, 2018
With deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother at Dufferin Place in Nanaimo just before her 98th birthday.

Born in Bulyea, Sask., to parents John and Sophie Yung in 1920, she moved to B.C. with her husband and first two children in 1945, and lived and worked in several communities throughout B.C. before moving to Nanaimo in 2001.

Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Miller of 60 years in 1999, son James (Shari) Miller in 2009, and all seven of her siblings, she is survived by three remaining children - widow Carol (Bob) Froese of Kamloops, Betty Serjeant of Nanaimo, and Stanley (Barbara) Miller of Ladysmith - plus six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

We appreciate the care and kindness from health care professionals and staff at Dufferin Place.

The family will gather this summer in Keremeos to celebrate the life of this remarkable woman.
