Marisa Hollinger
November 23, 1946 - September 28, 2017
It is with extreme sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved, Marisa Hollinger (nee Sinosich).
Marisa left us abruptly in her cherished home with her husband by her side. Although she is no longer with us, Marisa left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Stephen; siblings Louis, John, Frank and Cristina and their families; son Warren, his wife Karen and her beloved grandchildren Kai and Daisy; sister-in-law Carole; many nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts; as well as the wonderful ladies Marisa had the honour of calling friends.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the paramedics and firefighters that attended to Marisa with the utmost care and compassion.
Her family has watched as she touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Marisa was loving, kind, caring and generous, and her spirit will continue to shine in all our hearts.
For those who wish to commemorate this wonderful woman, a celebration of life is being held at the Nanaimo Golf Club, 2800 Highland Blvd., on Sunday, Nov.12 at 1 pm.
