She will be greatly missed by her only son, Larry Wiggins and wife, Sophie, of Nanaimo, BC, as well as by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Alfred Morgan; her parents, Gustav and Elizabeth Maier; and her brothers: Edward (Ann) Maier, Alexander (Mary) Maier, and Alfred (Doris) Maier. She is survived by her two sisters: Geraldine (Duncan) Cameron, of Vancouver, BC; Betty (Alec) Leggett, of Regina, Sask; and her son, Larry (Sophie); three grandchildren: Joan Wiggins (Graham Lamb) of Victoria, BC, Christopher (Farina) Wiggins of Ajax, Ontario, and David Wiggins of Salzburg, Austria; and three great grandchildren: Nicholas Lamb, Julia Lamb and Ryan Wiggins.

Marie was born in Regina, Sask., January 18, 1917 and married Ernest Wiggins in 1936. She married her second husband, Alf Morgan, in 1952; they worked together for the Sask. Dept. of Highways on road construction all over Saskatchewan. Upon retirement, they lived in Rouleau, Sask., then moved to Nanaimo for her remaining years, where she grew dahlias taller than herself. They spent winters in Yuma Arizona, where they enjoyed square dancing. Marie had many friends in the Lantzville Legion and at the Bowen Park Senior’s Dance. She also participated at the Moose Hall Bingo with her special friend, Evelyn Provost. She was truly loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
