1933-2021 ~ It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret on Friday, Sept. 24th, 2021 at the age of 87.
After a great battle with cancer, Margaret is survived by her husband John, her daughters Cindy (Walter) and Michelle, and her grandsons Graeme, Colin and Blake, her sisters Sally and Pamela in England, whom she loved very dearly, her friends in the Fish Club and her neighbours in Cedar, and her many friends in Vancouver and Nanaimo.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and the incredible gardener she was.
Margaret was a private person and per her wishes there will be no service and wishes to spend eternity at sea so her remains will be scattered at a later date.
We would like to thank the staff at the Nanaimo General on the 3rd Floor and the staff in the Palliative Care Unit for the wonderful care she received. We would also like to thank the first responders and paramedics that attended to her in her hour of need.
