STEVENSON, Margaret Strathern

Margaret passed away peacefully in her sleep on 25 May 2006 after a short stay at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Born 25 January 1915 (Robbie Burns Day) in Glasgow, Scotland, she kept her Scottish heritage alive for her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1983. She is survived by her son Andrew (Barbara) and daughter Moira (Bill), grandchildren David (Brenda), Heather Ann (Frank), Craig (Kerri-Lee), Caroline (Paul, Heather, Margaret and great grandchildren Teraleigh, Keifer, Rourke, Connor and Leah. It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, we will miss her. ‘”To Scotland the land that we left, And to Canada the land we live in, Maple leaves and Sprig o’ Heather, May they lang grow together.”
