In Loving Memory ~
Margaret Pamela O’Sullivan (nee Kelly) died peacefully at home on December 26th, 2022.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Tom, who passed away in October of 2020.
In 1969 Margaret and Tom emigrated from England to Nanaimo, where Tom had secured a position as an Engineer with BC Ferries. Soon after arriving in Canada, they moved to a 4-acre farm north of Ladysmith where they lived together for over 51 years and where Margaret passed away with her children by her side.
Margaret is survived by children Catherine (Dan) and David (Lisa); 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Monica; brother Chris (Kath); many other family members; and some very special friends especially, Yvonne, Willard, Julia, Sue and Dave.
Over the years Margaret and Tom travelled extensively, visiting all continents several times over, often getting off the beaten path, always making new and lasting friendships.
Margaret will be remembered by many people around the world as a loving, caring, hard worker who never gave up. The family would like to thank all of those that made mom’s last few weeks comfortable especially Dr. Sebastian Brown, the nurses from Ladysmith home care, and Gwen.
