EVANS, Margaret (Madge Chemko)
Margaret departed peacefully from this world Saturday October 18, 2008 with her girls at her side. Mom was born in Waldron, Saskatchewan on January 04, 1919 to Jack and Susan Evans. Survived by her younger brother David Evans of Kelvington, Sask. and predeceased by her brother Robert (Robbie). Margaret is survived by daughters: Margaret Mark (Svend), Louise Giordano (Doug Crawford), Harriet Howell, and Dianne Born (Alvin). Mom will always be remembered with much love by "her girls". Mom also leaves her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great great-granddaughter. Prior to retiring to Ladysmith, she lived in Kelvington, Sask., Terrace, BC., and Prince Rupert. We thank her for the unconditional love and many heart to heart talks she shared with each and every one of us. Mom always spoke of the care and kindness she received at Chemainus Health Care Centre by the staff, nurses, and Dr. Manhas. A memorial service will be held on Thursday , October 23, 2008 at 11:30 AM at Telford's Memorial Chapel, 112 French St., Ladysmith. Pastor Harry Nettleton officiating, followed by a tea at the Ladysmith Eagle's Hall.
