Margaret Christina Heath passed away peacefully at
Nanaimo Hospice on July 24th, 2017. She had been a nurse educated at UBC and worked in that capacity in the cities of Montreal, Vancouver, Edmonton and Nanaimo. She was an avid reader, had an interest in skiing, sailing, tennis and hiking. She was a strong supporter of arts and culture in our community and supported the Vancouver Island Symphony and Music in the Morning programs at the Port Theatre.
She is survived by her husband Buz, who founded the law firm now known as Heath Law in 1950. His son Ian
and his wife Diane have produced three daughters namely, Norah, Allison and Suzanne who, in turn, bore a great grandson named Paxtyn (Norah) and a great grand daughter named Lucy (Suzanne).
A Celebration of Margaret’s life
will be held at the Nanaimo Yacht Club
on August 12, 2017
at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
