Lt. Colonel Michael E Lee (CF Ret) passed suddenly in his home, age 77. A decorated former UN Peacekeeping officer, transportation executive, small business owner, and dedicated family man, Michael spent his retirement years in beautiful Nanaimo, working part time as a commissioner.
Michael was predeceased by his mother Ellen Theresa Jane "Terry" Lee (Mahoney), his father Lt. Colonel Bernard William Edward "Bill" Lee (CF Ret), his sister Phyllis Parker, and his second wife Jane Hinks.
He is survived by his three children, David (CF ret), Derek, and Alana Jane, his three grandchildren, Asia, Holden, and Charlie, his former wife and mother of his children Pamela, his niece Mia (CF Ret), nephew Phillip (CF Ret), and brother in law Graham.
