BALL, Lorne Robert
September 3, 1931 to November 30, 2005. Passed away peacefully at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital with his loving companion Janie by his side. Predeceased by his parents, one sister, four half brothers and sisters, and a favorite nephew Brian. Survived by two sisters, Joan of Toronto and Alice of New York, a close half sister, Gerry of Beeton, Ontario, close cousins Llyall and Colleen of Hamilton, Ontario and Keith and Marion of Coquitlam, British Columbia, several nieces and nephews and step grandson Andrew. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 100 Chapel Street, Nanaimo at 4:00pm on Saturday, December 10, 2005. A celebration of life service with an appetizer buffet and evening celebration will also be held at the Wellington Hotel beginning at 3:00pm on Sunday, December 18, 2005. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
