Lorna passed away quietly on Sunday with her loving family at her side. Deeply missed by her husband, Durwin, who calls her his one and only, Lorna is also survived by parents Dale & Gertie Cuthbertson, aunt Gena, brother Glen (Ildi), cousins Gary and Dave (Rose), nephew Daniel, and nieces Hannah & Sarah (Kevin). Also Harry and Martha Pye and Durwin's brother Duane (Tania) and sister Alayne (Kevin) and their families.
Lorna moved to Chilliwack as a toddler, and graduated from Chilliwack Senior Secondary in 1985. She met her future husband at the Chilliwack Alliance Church, which they both regularly attended. After they were married in 1991, they moved to Clearbrook where she used her career as a dental assistant to support him through university. In 2004, they made Nanaimo their home and thrived in their love for each other.
Lorna trusted Christ as her Savior at a young age and grew in the understanding of His Word. She will be sadly missed by all who got to know her. A Celebration of Love service was held at Chilliwack Alliance Church on Wed. May 16 at 1:30 pm.
