FRANCOEUR, Lionel
April 5, 1921 ~ July 31, 2012
Lionel passed away, peacefully, on July 31, 2012 at the age of 91. Lionel was born in Shell Lake, Saskatchewan, in 1921, and moved to Vancouver Island in 1945. He was predeceased by Lucienne, his loving wife of 66 years. He is survived by his daughters: Anita (Larry), Aline and Lucille (Peter); 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and sisters, Marguerite and Therese.
Lionel was a long standing contractor in Nanaimo and built many apartment buildings, including the first concrete high rise, the Royal Vista.
