It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lindy Cousins announce the sudden passing of a remarkable woman.
She is survived by her husband Jay, daughter Melanie; and grandsons Kyle and Darcy; her son Dan; and grandchildren Tayla and Jaydan; Her brothers Ronn, Ken, Neil, and Robert; and her mother Elaine as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Lindy was born in Edmonton, Alberta and grew up in Jasper, Alberta, and then spent many years in Whitehorse, Yukon raising her family with her husband before moving to Nanaimo in 1989.
She is well loved by family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, and Grammy who left too soon. Her family was the centrepiece of her life. Her strength, humor, and quick wit will never be forgotten.
The celebration of life will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel in Nanaimo on Saturday February 9th at 1pm.
