In Loving Memory of
Lindsey Michelle Lee Doolittle
May 24, 1978 – April 8, 2010
Lindsey passed away suddenly, unexepectedly and far too soon at her home in Nanaimo, BC. Predeceased recently by her father Paul March, 2010. Lindsey is survived by her mother Joyce Doolittle (Robbie); brother Morgan (Angela); Landon (Little Red); nephew Dominic as well as Aunts, Uncles and cousins in Alberta and Ontario.
Lindsey will be sadly and deeply missed by many, including her very close friends: Annie, Provost Family, Gord & Sherry, Kim.S., Ruth L. & Family, Shane L., Guy L., Evelyn & family, Alex. and NA & AA Families. Known for her infectious smile and distinctive voice, Lindsey had a smile that could light up a room.
Lindsey attended Wellington High School, graduated in 1997, from there she continued her education at VIU (formerly Mal-U), where she graduated in 2005 with her BA in Child and Youth Care.
Lindsey loved people, with her passion being working and helping troubled youth. One thing Lindsey always said “It takes more than a community to raise a child.”
Lindsey’s family have decided to have a private gathering by the ocean to celebrate Lindsey’s life. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lindseys name to: Haven House: A Society For Women and Children, PO Box 37086, Nanaimo, BC. V9T6N4 or Nanaimo Boys & Girls Club.
