Lieselotte LINGE (Lenze)

December 8, 1929 ~ February 13, 2009

Our hearts are heavy as we announce the death of our cherished mommy, LotteDa.  Lotte was born in Hamburg, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1954.  A pioneer in every sense of the word, her strength, humour and huge heart blessed the lives of all who were in her world.

Lotte will be missed beyond words by her family - Peter Linge, Gabby Linge, Christine and Rick Fawkes, as well as her grandsons, Christopher Linge and Chad and Soleil Linge.  Missing her gentle hands and generous treats, Casey and Beauty cry for their Oma.  Family members left behind in Germany - brother Kurt Lenze and his wife Gerda, and nephews and nieces Jens Lenze, Hark Lenze, Antje Bruhs, Katrin Lenze, and their families.  Waiting for her in heaven is her one love, Adolf (Ed) Linge, and daughter, Monica.  A part of the family in heart, she will be greatly missed by Bonnie Segger, as well as many other close friends.

Lotte learned of the beauty and ruggedness of Canada while living in Dawson Creek, and grew to love it as a home during her many years in Duncan.  She was the dedicated manager and secretary of the Cowichan Exhibition for 17 years.  She has lived for the past 5 years in Nanaimo, where she has continued, with her huge heart, to nurture her treasured family.

Mommy - now you can soar like the Eagle that you were born to be!  See you soon!  We will miss you every minute....
