WADDELL, Lesley Erin
June 18, 1950 ~ June 17, 2009
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Erin. She was predeceased by her father Robert, mother Luella, and father-in-law Jack Hopkins.
She will be lovingly remembered by her best friend, soul mate, and husband John Hopkins, children Shauna (Jim) Miller, Wayde (Julia) Heckford, Shawna (Jay) Couvillon, John Hopkins Jr., grandchildren Nick, Griffin, Aidan, Morgan, Elly, Dylan, her Jack Russell Tessie, as well as many friends and relatives.
Erin worked as a care aid for 30 years, finishing her career at Nanaimo Traveller’s Lodge. She touched many lives during her career.
Erin loved her family, home and working in her garden.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donation in memory of Erin may be made to a charity of your choice.
