Leonard William John Daynes

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Len Daynes. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Len was a long-time Waterfront employee with Local 508 ILWU and was a volunteer fireman with The Wellington Fire Department for 23 years. Len was the driving force behind their local neighborhoods park, where he spent countless hours creating and maintaining it, for everyone’s enjoyment.
Len will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years Wendy and their children Wayne (Kelly), Lisa (Mark); Grandchildren Cara, Chantel, Jacob, Sheldon, Jared and Kyle. He will also be missed by his niece Lianna and sister Jackie (Bill) and their family and all the friends, young and old he touched along the way.
